Dr. Lauren B. Schulz is a board-certified urologist and native New Yorker. She has been expertly trained in urology and urogynecology treatment and is a specialist in women's health and female urological disorders. Dr. Schulz devotedly caters to the health needs of both women and men, offering innovative treatments that target sexual dysfunction and reduced sex drive, as well as in-office vasectomies and urinary tract infection management.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University before attending New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. While completing her medical studies, Dr. Schulz earned a Master of Science degree and pre-doctoral academic medicine fellowship at New York Institute of Technology. She was elected to the National Osteopathic Honor Society, Psi Sigma Alpha, and earned a coveted urology residency at Einstein Medical Center and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Schulz’s training included formative experiences in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and pediatric urology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Schulz is a member of the American Urologic Association, Society for Women in Urology, American Osteopathic Association, and American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Her research has been presented at professional society meetings and published in scholarly journals. Dr. Schulz is one of only 500 women urologists in the universe.
She is an attending urologist at Lenox Hill Hospital and is a clinical assistant professor of urology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
