There is a light at the end of the tunnel; and that light is Dr. Elizabeth Kavaler and the Mona Lisa Touch System. My message to all woman who suffer from Lichen Sclerosis (LS) or other drying skin issues of the vagina is: Don't give up, Don't blame yourself, Don't resolve yourself to live with pain, Don't ignore it, Don't hide it and Do Something! I have lived with this condition for over seven years in which every few months the LS would reappear and I suffered with varying degrees of pain: Pain when I sat, Pain when I walked, Pain when I slept, Pain when I rode an exercise bike, Pain when I urinated and Pain when I wiped. The stress or distress of thinking that this was my life: never to be free of the pain and never to be able to be intimate was really depressing. The various creams I was using were not working. The Mona Lisa treatment with Dr.Kavaler is my light at the end of this dark tunnel of pain. The process/procedure is not painless but no pain, no gain; it is bearable. I have completed two treatments and after each treatment I see that I am getting better and soon life will return to normalcy. Dr. Kavaler is a very professional, knowledgeable, capable and compassionate doctor who can understand your condition and wants to relieve you of your pain.

I was able to get an appointment the same day. A courtesy not often encountered when seeing a specialist. There was little to no wait time and i was in and out within an hour. Dr kavaler is straightforward, highly competent, experienced, personable and listens. I am already feeling a bit better and am hopeful with her plan that continues. I had a good experience and would recommend this doctor to friends and family.

Dr. Kavaler takes the time to address any issues or concerns that I may have.
I have been to many urologists and Dr Kavaler is the only one that is willing to to do this.
